NEWTOWN -- The cleanup of the buildings at the former Fairfield Hills Hospital has taken its time.
But thanks to a $200,000 grant from the federal Environmental Protection Agency, the work should see a jump of progress.
"It will help tremendously,'' said Elizabeth Stocker, the town's director of economic and community development.
