DANBURY -- Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish plans a Santo Cristo Festival from noon to midnight Saturday and noon to 11 p.m. Sunday at the church, 149 Deer Hill Ave.
Traditional Portuguese foods and drinks, a bazaar, games, live band and folk dance groups will be featured.
On Saturday, the band starts playing at 8 p.m. and the dance groups begin at 9.
On Sunday, a procession begins at 4 p.m. from the church to Main Street and returns to the church. The band will start at 7 p.m. and the dance groups at 8.
