BRIDGEWATER -- The Friends of the Lake advocacy group that works on behalf of Lake Lillinonah will sponsor its 10th annual Save the Lake cleanup day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.Saturday.
People who want to participate should meet at 9 a.m. at the state boat ramp on Route 133 in Bridgewater, rain or shine.
Lake residents who cannot participate in the event are asked to pick up trash near their homes and leave it on their docks that day so volunteers can pick it up.
