Board to consider open campus

RIDGEFIELD -- The Board of Education will discuss and possibly vote on whether to let Ridgefield High School be an open campus for select students when it meets Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Annex, 66 Prospect St.

With an open campus, seniors with at least 90 minutes of time between classes could leave school grounds, then return.

The program would be confined to seniors who meet academic and attendance standards and who receive parental permission to participate.
